What SnapTakeOff collects

SnapTakeOff is a quoting and invoicing app for independent contractors. We collect:

• Account information you provide when you sign up: name, business name, email address, username, and phone number.
• Business data you enter to run your work: customer names and contact details, job descriptions, photos, quotes, invoices, and payment records.
• Contact details your customers provide on your quote-request form (name and phone number) so you can respond to their request.
• Basic technical data needed to operate and secure the service, such as login activity and device/browser information.

How the data is used

Data is used only to provide and improve the SnapTakeOff service: creating quotes and invoices, sending messages and payment links on a contractor's behalf to that contractor's own customers, processing subscription and customer payments, providing support, and keeping accounts secure.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Text messaging (SMS)

Contractors who use SnapTakeOff may send text messages to their customers about quotes, invoices, appointments, and completed work. Customers opt in by providing their phone number on the contractor's quote-request form or directly to the contractor for a job. Message frequency varies by job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Phone numbers and opt-in records are used only to deliver these messages.

Service providers

SnapTakeOff uses a small number of processors strictly to run the service: Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messaging), Supabase (database hosting), and OpenAI (optional AI-assisted drafting). Each receives only the data needed for its function.

Retention and your choices

Account and business records are kept while your account is active. You may request correction or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. If you are a contractor's customer and want your details removed from that contractor's records, contact the contractor or us and we will help.
